Would you use create-react-app for a new project?

I have quite a lot of experience with React and I know the basics of webpack. I'm wondering, for a new web app, if I should use create-react-app or if I should do it myself? On one hand, I'd like to do it myself to keep learning but on the other, I'm kind of tired of this whole craziness now and wouldn't mind just getting going with the project itself.

Any thoughts or opinions? Thanks!
