For the last couple of years, most AI products have felt like smarter chatbots.
Useful? Absolutely.
Autonomous? Not really.
After following the announcements from Google I/O 2026, it feels like the conversation is shifting from "What can AI tell me?" to "What can AI do for me?"
Imagine the difference:
A chatbot tells you a shipment is delayed.
An AI agent notices the delay, updates the customer, creates a support ticket, and escalates urgent cases automatically.
That's a completely different level of value.
Would love to hear what builders and practitioners in this space think.
