I would add that the fast pace in which front end technologies change, at the end of a week of intensive/immersive learning you could realize that some concept you focused on had changed. Just when you thought you had enough under your belt to start programming you might realize you need a few more days! That's why bootcamps are effective for people without a programming background - they can give you a curriculum that you probably couldn't conceive of on your own. Good luck!
