No, Humans are not just biochemical machines created by nature, if we were so, we would be Philosophical zombies, AI's, like other computer programs, doesn't have conscious experience.
If AI's can simulate life this doesn't mean that it is living!, it is just a simulation, an Image of the real thing.
Humans have souls, which is an non-physical entity that cannot be simulated by AI, within that soul lies a lot of things, and I believe one of those things is creativity.
Creativity is about the production of "something original and worthwhile"*...Original means that it didn't exist before, so How can AI be creative, it only builds things upon the already existing data/algorithms..etc.
