Hey! I'm currently creating a little chatbot for my own site with React. Have you ever created a bot or do you use any bots?

Is it important for the user that he can write messages? Or is it good/better to just have options which the user can choose from? Or both, a mix of options and input. An input field means that the bot needs a lot of data for the many variations of a possible answer. That's a contra for the input. But options could be less attractive. What do you think?
