This is a very generic question and I am ready to hear various stories from you and the community.
I spend most of the time watching Netflix, thinking about side projects (building them sometimes), chatting with old friends, etc.
This weekend I am planning to read Go Lang basics from the official website.
What are you up to?
As I have non-24 sleep-wake disorder -- resulting in living a 26 hour day -- the concept of a weekend, or even a normal 9 to 5 job are utterly incompatible with my lifestyle.
I HAVE to sleep an extra hour a day, and be awake an extra hour a day, or by body and mind goes haywire. As such the idea of a 7 day week doesn't entirely fly... it means I can't maintain the normal work schedule which is why I freelance -- and why I relax when I need to relax, and work when I need to work, and don't really have a fixed "well these days are for work and these days are for rest" as part of how I live.
I am week-end vanigar farmer. And on alternate weekend i go to my village for the same. and I feel found more connected with nature.
Sometime cooking, writing , reading books. Mountain is my favorite choice for trip. :)
if(!sleeping):
I am guaranteed to be doing one of those things at all times.
I kinda do all of the above + gaming. This wE I am organizing the rust meetup for next week and then I have to prepare a workshop for rust. Meanwhile I have to work on two projects and a friend of mine is celebrating her birthday.
I kinda deregulated my wE. I take time when I need it and work when it's needed. So wE and weekday don't really differ so much to me :D.

You have to believe in things that are not true. How else would they become?
None of the above.
Iʼm a father first. This means I tend to spend free time with my family instead of doing development and the like. This also helps me wind down enough so I can send the next week with productive work (ie. not hanging out on social media all day long).
I usually wake up around 5:30, give or take. Even on weekends, without an alarm. Call it a curse if you like. During weekdays I spend my first hour preparing to bring my daughter to preschool, but during the weekends I usually play some video games (most probably Guild Wars). This lasts for about 2 hours, when my wife makes up. I make coffee for her and prepare breakfast. When my daughter makes up, we go to the market, sometimes we even eat there. Then we go home, cook, tidy up the house, play, listen to music, whatnot. After such a busy Saturday our Sundays are usually full of games, nothing necessary to do.
Because during my last 10 years I learned that offline is the best place to be with your loved ones, be them friends or family.
