I usually smoke and code. If someone drinks water from a bong, then maybe such people also drink and code. lol. I recently found an article clevescene.com/cleveland/how-to-clean-your-bong/C⦠, if someone might be interested. Personally, it was a novelty for me to learn more information about how to use the bong correctly.
This post is very interesting and I also drink cold drinks and coffee. Along with this, I am fond of vaping. Yocan Regen is a very good wax pen vaporizer. It has Upgraded 1100mAh battery and sleek design. It gives awesome taste and having an attachment to utilize wax or concentrates.
More than once I've been in an office where beer or wine was a normal Friday afternoon thing, usually serving 1 or 2 drinks while you finish up the day and then head out to a short happy hour (1-2 drinks more at a local pub) or sticking around the workplace for a few minutes after work to chat before scattering for the weekend, but I always found if I have even just a few sips of alcohol while I'm working, it's like slamming on the brakes! It totally knocks the wind out of my sails and I just sit at the computer screen and think: βWhy do this now?β So if I'm trying to work I definitely won't mix coding and alcohol.
If you are drinking as an activity, doing a bit of coding might not be such a bad idea, but while you're coding as an activity I don't think doing a bit of drinking helps you get done any faster.
Dry and clean since 1994. I was... not a pleasant drunk. PROBABLY because I never had much tolerance for being around the inebriated in the first place.
Sometimes.
First of all, I never drink much in such occasions. A small amount of alcohol can do good things to your brain, as it reduces your urge to skip solutions that are alien to you. Too much alcohol, on the other hand, can damage your ability to work, so never ever do it.
Here are my two rules whenever I do such a thing.
git checkout -b drunk origin/masterIf you think rule number 2 is funny, just think about it. Like it or not, your brain is in a different state than usual. You will probably do things you would never do while being sober. You should obviously let others know what you did.
Finally, the most important rule is rule number 3: donβt become an alcoholic just because you always get positive reviews on work you did this way. Alcohol is dangerous on the long run; I saw it doing undoable damage.
The question is what choice do I have? :P
I am at my creative best when i am sipping a pint of beer.
After working 8.5 hours at my education administration job, I usually hit the vape pen for a little thc pick-me-up. Clears my head, gives me a little energy, and helps me focus on coding that i'm working on for my studies. If I have to read a lot of documentation it might take me an hour or so before i'm in a good flow (that being said i'm in a flow which I wouldn't be without a little herb) but if i'm working on algorithm challenges (which I usually start off with after work), THC is the best. Sativa is great for an early morning code sesh but a little Indica (like micro-dosing I mean) REALLY clears away any fatigue or physical discomfort after a long day of work to help me have a productive evening. I understand that some people are opposed to consuming marijuana but it's WAY better than booze (plus i'm allergic to sulfites so drinking gives me an itchy rash most of the time).
I drink...............................................Coffee.
Nope, I don't like it it blocks to much, I never drink when I work at all. But I won't take it away from others ;) as long as you can handle my review :)
