I suffer from eye dryness because of long hours in coding in front of laptop. Im using eye drop to heal that but its not recommended to use it for long time. The eyedrop contains artificial tears
I usually work around 12-14 hours. I follow theses rules
F.LUX will help a bit. Reduce the blue light and adjust the colors of your screen based on the time of day.
Secondly, I am someone who wears glasses, I choose to wear sunglasses when I code, to reduce the brightness of the screen, reduce glare, and stop blue light from entering my eyes. I find this helps a lot.
If you don't wear glasses, consider getting a non-prescription pair of glasses that reflects blue light and stops glare. Huge benefit.
Yes. I think almost everyone. Usually I reduce the brightness of the monitor + change the preset to "warm" in the Monitor to avoid the "blue" light which is the real culprit. Nowadays you get Night Mode feature in both macOS and Windows which is kind of a substitute for preset change.
There's a simple explanation on why blue color affects your eye. Youtube it.

I used to get headaches when working 10+ hours on my computer. The problem was solved when I started wearing Gunnar Glasses . I swear by them and own two pairs, one for the office and one for home.
