Brave Browser seems to be getting lots of attention recently. It is a new kid on block built based on the Chromium web browser.
Many of the recent reads related to Web Browsers indicates that, Google Chrome gets some 'Brave' competition from the new browser.
Brave got some of the cool ideas implemented already, like:

What do you think? Who’s better? Have you already joined the bandwagon? I did.....

I don't think it's worth using Brave browser.
Also, instead of blocking the ADS, it replaces with its own ads to generate revenue.
I just started today . it's light weight . Yes , Some time is needed to reach at conclusion .
Even I use Brave browser for my daily use since last 10 Days. And I think it's worth having a look. It's same like chrome but lightweight, ad's protection, in-build torrent engine, cross-site trackers blocking, and much more awesome features.
As a developer, the web development tools are same as chrome and even the extensions are been downloaded from the chrome web store. The browser is light weight and very user friendly to interact. Just give it a try, i assure you guys are gonna love Brave.
If i recall correctly - I wasnt overly impressed with it when I first looked at it (early this year, late 2018 I think) but it looks like it's come on a lot since - I might give it another go. Also, as my occupation currently primarily involves testing on browsers it will be interesting to see the adoption of this browser over time so that I can add it to the ever growing list of things to check and make sure applications are working on. #yayNOT

The main reason that takes me away from Google chrome is Google. Google collects a lots of data about users. After a while using Brave I will never ever use Google chrome again, and Brave becomes my browser of choise both in mobile and desktop.
