I think it's a myth that developers have ad-blockers installed on their browsers by-default. Just wanted to see how many of you use it.
No i do not, but sometimes i would like to do. Many pages are overacting there ads. There should be a global limit for ads on a single page. And maybe to ban fullscreen overlay ads...
I use it, and hate the fact that I use it. There are plenty of great publishers that deserve to get their work rewarded. Whitelisting is the only option I guess.
Yes, because sites has overlay ads, ads that fill the entire background i accidentally click on or ads with video and or sound that's just annoying.
Yes, but I selectively block certain websites. For a long while, wired.com and cultofmac.com were getting really annoying (to name 2 that really bugged me). Wired fixed theirs; can't say the same for cultofmac.com
If a website has good intentions, I understand the need for ads and will disable it. I don't mind seeing ads and usually find them interesting, so long as their not annoying.
Yes, I use them... mostly because a lot of sites use invasive ones or makes your hear sounds or listen videos, also it blocks youtube ads. I know it's bad for the owners and youtube channels but they should think twice about making noisy and awful ads, specially the ones that with just clicking anywhere on the site brings a pop up and force you to vote or select something all in a matter of 2 or 3 seconds.

Yes, ads sucks, can't stand them. I make exceptions for sites that have decent, relevant, non-annoying ads, like Stack Overflow. Sites that won't display if you have an AdBlock, I block those sites out of principle and go somewhere else where my choice not to see annoying ads is being respected.
