I've been using it for the past 6 months and have been pretty satisfied with it, so I wanted to give it a shout out and hear your opinion about it 😃
Never tried it, and probably never will. Their ad-based business model, which looks like the one that AdBlock Plus fired up, looks rather shady to me.
I've tried it and I use it. I've made the switch from FF to Brave now. Brave is quite fast, and I really like the auto-adblock.
More info here.
Firefox for general surfing. Chromium for online financial, medical, etc.
I've heard about it a lot. Never gave a try myself. My colleagues used it for a week or so, switched back to Chrome. They said they're blocking stuff that is necessary!
I hate browsers that block ads by default. They're killing many creators (like me)
Google Chrome 💕 - my favourite
Tried it "not interested" is a bit harsh... but I'm definitely not using it as my main browser. I think the BAT cryptocurrency built in and paying websites you visit is a cool idea.
I fire it up for certain privacy use cases. I trust Firefox, Brave, and Safari more than Chrome in this regard.
I feel like it's the early 2000s... some websites only work on Chrome now ;(
I tried it, but found that the features in Chrome such as saved Google passwords, browser sync, and history were too convenient to go without for long ;)
I also feel kind of guilty blocking ads on sites that make money off of advertising.
