I think it depends on a lot of variables. How do you like your current position and company? Are you looking to replace a company soon? What are you passionate about? Front end? Everything? I would go for both in parallel. Try ngrx for one weekend and think where it can be part of your company solution, see if your boss think so too. Try spring boot. After your tried the surface of both, see what is more interesting for you.

Currently, my company only cares about getting things done. Whether you use ngrx or not, is not what they are concerned with :P

I actually plan to switch jobs in near future, what would you do if you are in my place. ?

Every company's top priority is getting things done. The question is whether you can help GTD if you learn one of them.

Baout your next job, what would you prefer to do? Not money wise, but what makes you happy about your job. Do you like front end development? It's a good idea to learn backend anyways, but there are so many things about frontend to learn, so it's a hard decision to make.

I think that if you are thinking of your next job, and that's why you want to learn backend, I would go for node.js or python and not for Java, but that's just my preference 😁
