Help me select the best font icons. I have found the following options for my project.
Ionicons - Lightweight icon set by Ionic Framework.
Foundation Icons 3 - zurb.com/playground/foundation-icon-fonts-3. Thanks to you I know that Material Design Icons exist. I'll check it.
I would say that the advantages of using Googles Material Icons is that they already have it in SVG, ICONS and PNG so you could use any of those without using a third party site or software to convert the font.
Fontello.com has multiple sets (including Font Awesome for example) and you can cherrypick from those sets and it will build a custom font for you. You can even change the codes and names, for ease of implementation.

Font Awesome will be good to use, but if you want to create something to be very modern and provides a user a good feel then you can go with Material Design Icons.
