I ask this question because I have learnt Javascript for months now but can't build a development environment not talking of running a project with it
Find simple projects on github and other websites. Run them yourself. Modify the code and make small changes. This is a great way to learn how to do more complex things.
JUST DO IT! I know that sounds kinda funny but, learning how you learn can be challenging. I have found that the best way to learn is to keep doing it. Practice as much as possible and:
- Value failure
- Focus on process, not outcome, and on questions, not answers
- Make time for reflection
- Learn to be true to myself by playing to my strengths
- Pair specialization with variety
- Treat others as learning partners
- Enjoy the process
Learning is hard, time consuming, and usually does not come naturally. Taking the time to stop and think about what we are learning and how to adapt it is very important. This allows us to build confidence and course correct.
Typescript can help you extend your javascript comprehension and knowledge.
