I decided to freelance. Now, I created a website and need feedback. See: https://eimfach.github.com What do you think I could improve ? Should I point also my past non freelance projects for example ? Do you think it's enough content ?
Yes you indeed need to prove what you can do. Proofs are everything. You also need a photo of yourself, it makes you more trustworthy.
I get the impression when I read through your site that you just started freelancing, that's fine, but as a customer I might feel more safe taking someone with experience, so don't make it too obvious you are new.
As my plans will rise, I will relocate and travel more often
It seems you are not sure about what to do with yourself? How can I trust you don't escape my order then :-)
Don't let GitHub and Stackoverflow (that link doesn't work btw) be your profiles, take the content to your site.
Be a little more natural the way you tell about yourself, so it doesn't feel like a standard interview.
Try think of yourself as a product, you are the product that other companies wanna buy/lease to deliver a task. How would you make a website that sells a single product? Try convert those concept to selling yourself.
Make people believe you are the number one for task.
Would be good to show a portfolio of your work and social proof i.e. customer testimonials. (linking to a GitHub account isn't enough)
I see you have reserved the domain ship-ready.com. Don't you think robingruenke.com would be better? Now it's free I recommend you get it ASAP! No need for fancy names. Once you own your name you can adapt the site to your current career.
The other commenters have already given excellent feedback about the content. Concerning the design, it's fine if you put a picture on the left fixed column but it looks a bit plain.
Thanks everybody for participating, that meant a lot to me ! Great community thumbs up

Since you only asked about content, I did not take a look at your code.
