Passion for serverside technologies and a desire to securely integrate data paired with my graphic design skills helped to boost me into fullstack.
Although I started with a focus on servers and data, eventually I earned a web design certificate at a time when "Rich Internet Applications" was booming within the Adobe ActionScript and Flash/Flex era. I was also learning a lot about AJAX and asynchronous user interfaces using XMLHttpRequest() object.
Soon after I was developing dynamic XML/JSON providers in C# and consuming them on the front-end. My Web Design creativity kept me wanting to master the interface by creating mesmerizing experiences for the user.
I have always had an interest in learning the products I'm working on. In the beginning I said "I want to create an OS", well that was a bit aside the target of reasonable things to spend my time on. On the other hand I have for a long time developed without profit and therefor been forced to think about minimal expenses which means I have to do it myself.
My main thing is the website and nowadays the servers (clouds) are pretty much targeted my kind of people, so it's not too hard anymore.
by chance, to be perfectly honest with you :)
Fresh out of college, I was initially hired for my knowledge of Visual Basic, but due to our tech support guy leaving the company within a few months of my arrival, I was put in charge of our IT department (i had previous experience) and for the next 6 years, I worked as the IT Manager while also doing small coding projects whenever I could. After that time period, I realized I was starting to burn out, so, I decided to go full time into web dev, and I haven't looked back!

I started in 1999 with Flash 4 and have always loved creating interactions, animations, user interfaces and design. Then I got in to programming ActionScript, HTML, CSS, PHP and little bit of JS.
When Flash died, I started learning JavaScript, and because I always tailor-made my ActionScript projects, I learned JavaScript throughoutly as well, not just some frameworks.
When node.js came out, I was blown away by the possibilities it offers (still am). Now I can do pretty much everything in both front and the backend.
As the language have evolved, I’m more and more convinced about the greatness of JavaScript. Haters gonna hate, I don’t really care, it’s a beautiful and powerful language full stack, if used well. 🤘
