How do you think software engineering will change in the next few years?
I really missed writing code the old way, when you have to write every single line of your code, a few days ago I tried to build a small app, 100% without any AI help, it was really fun, I missed it.
I get that feeling, writing everything by hand does hit differently.
I don’t think coding will stop being fun, it’ll just shift. Less time on boilerplate, more on thinking, design, and actually building interesting stuff.
Ironically, “coding without AI” might become the new fun mode 😄
