Microsoft is certainly going out of their way to win over the corporates by sending architects over to work with companies - I got a voucher from Devoxx to try them out, but it expired long before I had time to try it out. Since I was already using AppEngine at the time, I moved to GCE, AWS was just waaaay more than I needed and MS at the time was too focussed on .NET and Microsoft products.
