Hello, Hashnoders! Did anyone here try to learn how to do pixel art?
I don't know how to draw either, and I would like to learn pixel art. I'm looking for good tutorials, and maybe some advice to begin on this path.
Thanks, and have a good one! :)
Pixel Art is not a new artistic trend but more a return of a movement that appeared in the 70s. And like fashion or the various artistic movements that come and go, Pixel Art is coming back !
A work made in Pixel Art gives a result that could be qualified as simplistic, but it requires a lot of work and great patience. Pixel Art lives on and is not about to disappear!

Hi, In my opinion, Pixel art is the simplest, It might take you a few hours to learn pixel art, or it could end up taking you a few years to master. Actually, It depends on your learning style and how deep you want to go into the learning process. I am a college student and recently I did my academic essay about art topics, Luckily I got this resource writingbros.com/essay-examples/art where they shared some good information on this topic that can inspire me to finish my academic paper successfully. Anyway, if you become an excellent pixel artist then you should start watching free online tutorials of varied subjects and practicing regularly.
I guess you would have to learn basics of drawing first, for that go to drawabox.com, it also comes with a subreddit.
There remains a very delicate balance in this world, between those who create and those who will experience the creations of others. I can't say that I wasn't aware of this. However, I had never experienced it. Now, thanks to you, I finally have. As long as the there is someone who will appreciate the work involved in creation, the effort is time well spent. To this end, I will continue to create for as long as I can.

Ah! It is so nice to find a fellow Pixel Art enthusiast in here! I have always wanted to do Pixel Art, but never really got around to it seriously; got into the comfort zone of being a consumer rather than being a creator!
I have a collection, though, of pixel art learning resources which I had collected, in the hopes of being great at it one day. I am unsure of the location of that collection; but a search has brought up the ones that I was looking forward to perusing.
As @razorbeard has put it, DeviantArt has some of the best resources; here are a couple which come highly recommended to start learning pixel art
This tutorial by Derek Yu of Spelunky fame, is highly revered among Pixel Art enthusiasts as a perfect beginning place to get a grip on the basics of all of the techniques involved in making Pixel Art.
I hope these will be of help. Excited to see what you make of it. :)
