Joseph S Stevens I actually don't know if these ideological approaches are valid. the problem is metrics and values, since they vary even if we would take this social median of being honest, fearless, stoic, etc. it just falls into one category.
What is the system definition of programming? what are the classifications? who defines those metrics? how are they verified?
This is a highly subjective question hence it leads to highly subjective answers.
For example if you're an ignorant person, who has none of the traits, but you deliver on time and you get more money in than you get paid that would be a complete valid economic equation. And it was about being paid!
Also the narration problem is going to come up .... it's a hard question since we're moving into social and psychological domains which are not laws of nature.
I dare say that most of them are likely to be ambitious. This is something where I would say this has a high probability to match up.
Anyhow ... just saying if you read the other answers beside mine, which is basically the same thing like my answer here.
Hipkiss points out the ethics and ambitions
Emil Moe the impedance missmatch
Todd the value issue
also we have 1 attribute that was defined for the filter it was paid. this already defines a certain set.
But I don't wanna bore you further, all I am saying is that such questions should not be projected with contemporary social ideas onto a group of people.
Also - this is a mistake I very often make, besides my other biases - correlation is not causation.
