One of my most passionate projects is Dev Tips, a mailing list to share animated developer tips and tricks. I also post lots of tips on twitter.
I've made a few DevTools related videos on YouTube, and have a whole course on DevTools too.
I've worked for Shazam, Google, the UK Government, & a few other startups.
I'm currently working on a new course about browser testing and automation.
I'm grateful you're here! Can chat about anything on your mind, but here are some ideas:
AMA starts on 4th Sept 2020 at 6 PM GMT.
My question is what is your process for the Online course & Do My Exam, how do you keep yourself updated with these services.
Thank you for posting that it could be just the thing to give inspiration to someone who needs it! Keep up the great work!

Hi Umar Hansa. Thaks for this AMA!.
What will you say is your biggest and most successful productivity hack as a developer? and also, how do you stay motivated and create the time to do all that you do?
Thank you.
Hello Umar Hansa,
I have tried working on a number of side projects but I never finish most of them. It is also very exciting at first but eventually loose the drive to complete the project after some days.
How do you complete your side projects?
Hey Umar, Thanks for this AMA. Just want to know what are your hobbies and how does your typical day look like? How has quarantine affected your daily routine.
Hi Umar Hansa, thanks for this AMA!
Why do you think a lot of developers find CSS a bit stressful or hard in UI development? Do you think this is a problem with the basics or are some particular individuals just not meant to be great with UI design?
Can you recommend a great beginner's guide to get started with learning CSS and UI design?
Thanks for the AMA!
I would love to learn more about your process for debugging performance. I know devTools are powerful but I have yet to learn it efficiently. My go-to debugger is console.log('I am here:line#');
What steps do you take to debug performance?
What part of Shazam did you work on?
Whats your favorite programming language?
Would you rather fight 100 duck size horses or 1 horse size duck?
Hey Umar,
Thanks for the AMA! My question is what is your process of course/content creation, how do you keep yourself updated with ever-changing (or a better way of doing) things on web-dev?
Hello Umar,
Thanks for doing the AMA
My questions are:
Hey Umar,
Thanks for doing this AMA!
My question is do you get invited to do speaking at events/podcast, or do you actively search for them?
Hi Umar! I wanted to know,
Hey Umar Hansa , I love DevTips. I have learned a lot of awesome stuff from it. Thanks for doing this AMA.
What one piece of advice you would give to someone who wants to get into front-end development?
How do you make such awesome gifs for DevTips? What tools do you use?
The technologies companies are requesting in their job ads are quite long and often I do not meet them. I understand that you want to be able to meet all of them, however, in the company I am working at the stack is pretty out-dated. How do you transition to another job with a modern stack? Because most of the company will ask for experience.
