Hi everyone,
- I'm Tim, from Germany
- I am a passionate software engineer with more than 15 years of experience in building web and desktop apps
- I have been leading people and teams since 2010 as a tech-lead, scrum master, coach, engineering manager, chief learning officer, international public speaker and mentor.
- I have grown teams of engineers from 3 to 20 and 20 to 100. I strive when fostering cultures of exchange, respect, growth and learning both with locally and remote.
- I am the host of the devjourney podcast. Every week I interview software developers to highlight their life's journey, discover how they became the person they are, get career advice from them, etc.
- I am the author of the SeeCFP conference call for papers aggregator.
- I am a passionate mentoring advocate. I have been a mentor and a mentee myself for the past 10 years and I am thrilled to promote it further. I have been talking about it on stages across Europe and I created the free email course mentoring.rocks to help you make your first steps in mentoring as well!
- I am the chief learning officer of a consulting company in Germany. I help my colleagues find their ways and grow as human beings.
- I am also an engineering manager with my own team of coaches.
- I finally coach myself, technical agile practices.
I rarely code for a living. When I do, it's in C#. And when I code for fun, it's in Python!
