I am a self taught front-end developer. I work with Rails App + jQuery / Ionic +Angular and I'm currently learning React / Vue + Node JS & Php Laravel. PHP because there are tons of jobs available, and JS because I'm able to grasp easily, being a front-end developer.
Sometimes I think, should I invest my time in languages such as GO which is serious contender to Node.js or should I continue learning Javascript.
j
stuff ;)
Doesn't matter if you're good. It's just a language :)
The thing that strikes me is gg is you mention frameworks not languages :) .... which already shows a preference to application development. At least from a superficial point of view :)
So if you want to continue on this path learn node :) if you want to go more into the devops / system engineer direction you should go for go ;D ...
that's ofc purely superficial since I don't really care about languages or frameworks anymore :)
