Right now, I'm using my own custom blogging system for my site, but I was hoping to switch to Devblog for a better experience.
The problem is, I need all the people on my mailing list (mailchimp) to be able to receive emails every time a new post is made.
It would be nice not to have to do that manually every time...
But I can't find any such feature on devblog.
I have a custom email address to send from as well, if that makes a difference.
Hi Caleb
We don’t have that feature right now. But we have something on our roadmap that will let users manage subscribers and send emails from Devblog itself. This is an end-to-end thing - which means it will require you to use Hashnode for maintaining subscribers list.
If that’s not something you want, we can support webhooks as well. Every time you post something on your blog, we can hit your endpoint which sends an email to your subscribers. It can be a mailchimp API endpoint or something you built yourself. What do you think?

Life is a Gift
In my opinion, going for blog visitors is better/easier than going after subscribers. I have a subscribe box on the right hand side of my blog's site, but I suppose one of those pop ups might be more effective. I've noticed that many websites prompt you to subscribe as soon as you get on the page.
Perhaps it's just me using subscriptionflow.com for subscription management, but I read a lot of blogs but never feel compelled to subscribe to them, and I'm sure many others do as well. I usually just come back to see if there are any new posts, so perhaps you need a mechanism to entice folks to subscribe?
