When you create a footnote, a superscript number with a link appears where you added the footnote reference and readers can easily click the link to jump to the content of the footnote at the bottom of the page.
This footnote support will allow writers to easily add notes and references.

It would be nice to have this. Without this feature, cross-posting/publishing becomes more difficult and time-consuming - we could use this time for focusing on the content.
Currently writing my first post on this platform, and not having footnote support is a bit of an issue. I hope Hashnode adds support for this soon!
+1. I'd love this. I've just now started writing my first blog post on Hashnode and was ctrl+F'ing the guide for this by the second paragraph.

Also upvoting this. I create content that makes use of footnotes, and it means needing to modify the content before posting due to this Markdown feature not being supported. I'd love to see it!
