I know it is currently in RC, so should I wait a few more months to learn the final product or start right now?
I think this is a good time to learn Angular 2. If you know A1, or if you are totally new to Angular world. But you should know that before learning angular it is good to know other tools and terminologies that will make your angular life easier. That's what makes angular 2 a little bit harder to start than Angular 1, in my opinion.
Never doubt about what to do, just do it. Angular 2 RC.1 is quite stable right now. Do it!
Definitely there is a lot less breaking changes , beside stable would be probably in three months so that would be just in time
You should. Angular 2 is much better than Angular 1.
Well, I think start learning angular 2 is a nice thing, there is a RC, but i don't think change so much. If you know angular 1 you can see the migration guides provided by google.

Sorry to hop in, even I am thinking the same. But I have not used angular 1 either. Have used Backbone though.
