If you don't have a personal site, I would start with that. Build it to promote yourself and use it as "living" demonstration of your abilities. In addition, add a blogging section to talk about what you are doing and explain your process.
I think that blogging point is very good. I have found many times that it keep me more motivated while writing breakdowns about processes. Blogging is also great way to make notes for yourself. Same time as you share great info with others and made good marketing for yourself, you make "diary" about your learning process. I've found this priceless many times while going back there and see how I've done something.
