One thing that makes Linux awesome is the level of customization you have for you system. I'm wondering what desktop environment people are finding awesome or useful. If the desktop environment you are using isn't listed feel free to comment about the one your using.
Unity! I didn't like it back in the day when Ubuntu replaced Gnome with it.
Then Gnome 3 came out and I decided to give another chance to Unity and since then I am being using it and I am happy.
At first because I don't had a good PC i used LXDE and XFCE, they were fast af, but i felt something was incomplete.
Right now using Fedora 24 i am so happy with GNOME 3.20 customized with some good themes.
I will give you a picture of my desktop 
First I used gnome. But after all my colleagues switched to i3 I also switched. I never want to use something else :)
