Being inspired by the question asked by Anuj Sharma, I am starting this thread. Please tell us what is in your roadmap and what do you plan to learn in next 6 months.
I plan to get a new laptop and finish freeCodeCamp's Front-End course. And I hope to be more frequent in blogging and start podcasting :D
Elm
Redis
React Native
I might be too optimistic here, but I plan to complete 2 Developer courses at MongoDB University and study and pass the MongoDB Developer Certification exam. Concurrently, I will be preparing to take and pass the Comptia A+ Cert exam. I also plan to finish up a personal site and finish all of the coding challenges for basic front end at freecodecamp.com. The final bit will be trying to average a couple levels per week at codefights.com in order to make sure my basics are strong in algorithms, python, and javascript. THEN once that is done possibly start looking for developer work if I feel prepared enough.
Getting comfortable with Angular 2. I've been building enterprise web apps for a while and I still find Angular hard to wrap around my brain. I'll give React a try to see if I like it more. Seems to receive more love than Angular.
I'll get rid of the last inches of fat. That's both from my body and projects (and by that I mean jQuery of course 😅).
I have a 3-year road map outline in a Google Doc (it changes consistently since the industry changes so often), but thankfully the next 6 months are relatively predictable. ;-)
After 6 months I hope to be in a solid full-stack environment, particularly in the stack above. I also hope to really flush out the Frontend Cafe community as a weekly exercise and ongoing project!
Apply for my first job as a front end web developer and learn the new technologies about web development and try to finish my freecodecamp front end web developer path. I never had an experience as a web developer and I'm hopeful that within 6 months I will land my first one.
Great question! I'm finishing up a Deep Learning Program from Udacity. In the next 6 months, I'm planning to take up the AI Nanodegree Program. I know the basics of numpy, pandas and Tensorflow so I'd like to do a deep dive. I'm also planning to build small ML apps.
I have a long list
Out of all, I am more excited with Data structure course as this is something I was trying from so long :)
What my goals are for 6 months
The Complete React Web App Development Course (Andrew Mead/UDEMY)
Linux+ (certification/COMPTIA)
Get a Web Developer Job and quit being a Field Technician

im kinda newbie into these things but 6 months from now I will be learning some React/Redux, Materialize and going back with a old library, the win32
Awesome question! I would like to get really comfortable in reactjs and build strong front end development skills. I also plan on finishing the 10 month long boot camp that I'm going to with Learners Guild and hopefully land my first developer job.
June: Finish Machine learning course 1 for Python, scipy, numpy, pandas, scikit learn. Finish book on Elixir Learn enough about Docker and AWS to get a small app written with Elixir/Phoenix as an API with React front end with Redux or Mobx. Finish up TeDB(embedded Typescript Database) with my friend and continue collaboration with the FeatherJS team to create storage drivers for it.

August: Learn the Ins and outs of Docker and AWS continuous integration. Build on my Elixir/scala/spark/python/tensorflow skills. Stay master of Javascript/Typescript.
September: Hopefully still continuous growth in the fields listed above.
October: Start working on writing ML libraries for Elixir/ Math Libraries
November: Continue work on Elixir ML libraries
December: Publish first Elixir ML library
This exact moment last year I was learning Javascript/css/html from codecademy.com.

I am a noob in web development. Being a doctor, I don't get much time for learning, but I have resolved to spend some time daily to learn enough to build a simple website from scratch in the next six months
