I am attempting to self-teach web development. I am creating a blog and would like to implement a preview of every article on the homepage. Essentially shows a snippet of the blog post, you can then click on the article heading to navigate to he full post.

Have had trouble finding out how to go about doing this. If anyone could recommend where to start looking and what this would entail, I would really appreciate it.
