For those who are unaware, we recently rolled out something called hashnode.dev that helps developers maintain a personal blog while retaining independence. It's in alpha preview and we are slowly rolling it out to interested users. So, you'll see stories from these individual blogs from time to time in your feeds.
The purpose of this thread is to generate ideas for bloggers who already have access to the blog feature. Are you more interested in personal stories of developers? Would you like a tutorial on any particular technology? What kind of content interests you the most? Please leave a comment with your ideas.
This may also serve as "Requests for Articles" π where the ideas can be picked by any author.
I don't know but I am more interested in watching rather than reading. Sort of became lazy. Whenever I want to read, I query Google and it brings me the best article or SO post. Usually, it is a problem that I am trying to solve.
I will be interested to read short articles on problems faced by users while working. For example, how to design a custom button, or how to enable scrolling, etc. Short articles which are easy to read rather than long articles intended to please Google.
I would like to read about various topics about working in a company in general. Like work ethics and culture, interview process pros and cons. Developer experiences.I would also prefer articles or blogs on time management. Lastly some motivational articles about how to not get bored of work.
I like the more advanced polls and subjective questions. I guess those don't really fit the blog format...
One thing I would like blogs about is programming language design. But I'm not sure that'd get lots of views...
I find almost anything takes my pick at reading but its very interesting to read about the personal stories of developers how they got from xyz to being successful and them and technologies they've used over the years. I also love the idea for the request for articles, think that would be so cool! to Hashnode and very unique!
For me its useful so depending on the tech stack ill read but even react, I still yet to dabble with it but its interesting with what users write about it. Think it also keeps us up to date with tech in the market ;)
I'm mostly interested in stuffs related to js and typescript :)
Personal opinion, I would love for some blogs about some of the networking technologies (Ex: protocols, server hosting, ..etc), especially if it can go a little bit into details. I would also love to hear about how some developers/programmers (freelancers or employers) manged to get their first job.

Kotlin and preferably not Android related - there's soooo much Android focus on Kotlin I've stopped reading most of what I come across. I understand that mobile is where the focus is nowadays, but I'm doing microservices (in Spring - which has great Kotlin support now) and it's difficult to find new tips and techniques that aren't mobile specific. Even if the articles have concepts that are generic enough they'd be useful, I either skip it because it's targeted at mobile or I spin my wheels trying to figure out how to generalize it.
And I know someone in this thread specifically asked for more just and typescript; I'm hoping for less of that myself (sorry!) - it seems like every article I come across that's not for mobile is for front-end UI or Node. (Or python/data science/machine learning). I get that those are all the latest buzzwords, so that's what people want to write about, but it's getting to where I almost hate trying to surf here and other communities.
