Fazle and I started Hashnode because we wanted to create an open and friendly Q&A network for programmers. Stack Overflow and Stack Exchange sites are good for reference, but aren't too inclusive and welcoming. We wanted to build a platform where developers can share their ideas and exchange knowledge without being judged.
Our mission has always been crystal clear and we were motivated enough to quit our software developer jobs to pursue this. So, I would say until you take the first few steps, the journey will always look scary.
