I hate to say, but given enough time, I'd pick Laravel. I'm an avid CodeIgniter user, and used other frameworks like Kohana. But with all recent developments going with Laravel and their community growing every day. Plus, not to mention, the list of available 3rd party libs make it a great framework.

Why would you "hate to say" Laravel?

@MikeClassic As I mentioned, I use Code-Igniter for past few years and I'm pretty much content with it. In fact, most of my freelancing projects are done with it and they are running just fine. One thing with laravel is, the learning curve is too much. When I moved from CI to use Laravel, I had hard time getting it up and running the way I wanted, which I would have done with CI-like frameworks in minutes time. So only thing stopping me from going on full Laravel is, the learning curve and the ease of configuring which CI provides. For full on PHP developers, this might not be the case, but for me, it is!
