Believe me or not, my first proper foray into professional programming was through Android. Back in 2012, it was the thing to learn and this was a time when I was still in second year of college. I went to a Google Hackathon to get on the Android Bandwagon.
The app I was built was a restaurant rating app. I then went on to an Android internship, but moved to the backend side of things on the third day of the internship and have remained on the backend and web side of things to this date.
