Hey community, we are looking for post ideas for our Twitter account. If you have access, what would you Tweet on a regular basis? What do you think Devs on Twitter care about? How can we make our posts interesting?
Excited to see what folks think. ๐
I think, Developers are facing an ever growing threat of workplace politics, backstabbing and shoddy middle managers. I'd love to know more about how to deal with it, but, Twitter isn't exactly the "free speech platform", and people are pretty easily triggered. ๐
Now so much for Twitter but Instagram, you could define some relevant criteria for photos and ask the community to send photos and republish (with credits) the ones that are good enough? Could be stuff like from events or workplaces. Similar to what profiles such as beautifuldestinations do
Hashnode should have some gamification methodology like reputations, badges..etc on StackOverflow to survive for a long time. This definitely engage a lot of developers
twitter is a circus freak only good to get juniors or hardcore people. since the platform promotes journalism first and foremost imo best combination would be something for noobs, something for pros, something news/security related and then something "popular" like those off-topic posts. since hashnode blogs feature kind of more than 1 good post / day it's just a matter of what userbase you want to attract further. I think popularity posts can have a negative impact or potentially be exploited by people trying to have their posts retweeted more so manual daily curation I think is best. kinda everything dhanushka madushan said but not automated
I joined Hashnode 3 years ago because Jeffrey Way tweeted that he would do a AMA. Not sure what else you should tweet about.
Thumbs Up to Hashnode for twitting about interesting stories, discussions, mentions, interviews already.
Good to tweet interesting discussions/debates. I see there are some interesting ones already on Hashnode but very few gets twitted. Many of the discussions may catch interest with wider audiences
Stories of Struugles => Achievements @hashnode
Interesting interviews of common(not so well known) bloggers and how they are making it big with Hashnode
To let people know, how Hashnode is different.
Established bloggers, well known Techies on social media talking about Hashnode.
How Hashnode helps organizing events etc.
Continue twitting interesting stories. Whoever coming up with those captions for twitter or other social media, mind blowing!
Just a curiosity, I think not every story gets the number of likes that it might originally deserve. So I would assume, Hashnode already picking stories for tweets based on the content, technology areas, impact etc.. Of course, likes should be considered too.
I would tweet about new features coming up in hashnode. Giving motivation to new developers or tweet about new hiring or hired candidates. I also would give a weekly video about behind the scenes of the company workplace and people interviews etc. Also, ask bloggers in this platform to give their experiences while using this platform.

Since you want to praise diversity this week (or last maybe), what about also mentioning Ada Lovelace โ not to be confused with Lovelace.
