I've had non-technical friends ask me about easy ways to setup and host Wordpress sites, and haven't had a good answer. Ease of setup is the main factor, but cost would also be important.
Your best bet would probably be a managed wordpress solution, such as WPEngine, Pantheon or Flywheel. However many standard hosting providers have one-click WordPress installs and are usually cheaper.
