As you may know, we have recently started the Hashnode Originals initiative. We have published 3 stories so far, and there are more in the pipeline.
Let us know in comments! :)
I love the idea of them and the execution seems good too. I would however suggest that it could need a contents bit, such as @maruru did in his original post. I guess what I really mean a standard format for all to follow to get published.
Additionally, there's a bug on the page. Everytime I launch an original post in the same tab then press back, returning me to the originals main page - no articles are displayed. Currently running win 10, chrome 54.0 64bit.
I didn't have time to read it yet. I must admit I can ba as bad and unfocused online user as everyone. I think the main reason I didn't read it immidiately is because it was so long.
However since it's different from normal stories, it's okay they are long, but maybe something can be done. One thing could be a few more images another thing I think could be good would be separate it with some kind of pagination so it will be easier what different topics are. If I'm going to read a long text for 10-15 minutes, it has to catch my attention almost spot on. Someones personal story unfortunately rarely does. Breaking it down more visible in topics might get my attention better on 1 topic and I might be interested in reading more after reading that topic.
Also I was wondering what the criterias for being an original person?
Until now, I didn't realize there was this new Originals feature, so thanks for inviting me to participate in this answer. Now I know!
I've enjoyed these so far. They've been helpful to me, and I will no doubt come back to them in the future to review the ones I've found useful.
I'm really glad there are developers out there who are willing to take the time to share like this.
I didn't read it, but think it's really interesting having first touch experiences. It's interesting to have first hand approaches and experiences about any kind of language or methodology and I think it's a nice way to share knowledge and know more about some topics or things we don't know, hope some Original story about DDD, Hexagonal, CQRS and a little of software architecture :)

I think Originals should be sticky in the feed for quite some time. On one day I see a purple label "Originals", and on the next day, it's gone until I scroll deep down my feed. The visibility is what I would like to change.
