I started learning .NET Core from the very first day. I went through all the project.json pain, the breaking changes, some dev builds and a lot of pain.

However, even though some of what I learned isn't relevant today anymore (i.e. project.json), the time I spent learning resulted in a much better, much deeper understanding of the underlying concepts.

The time I invested back then now pays off big time as I am able to help others achieving their goals with .NET Core much faster, much more elegant and more efficiently than they would be able with the full framework.

I really gave up in the project.json part. It's like jumping from angular1 to angular5 in 1 step. you need a whole lot bigger pants for that. I know that how much .net core help us here with the cross platform capability but I believe I'm not here alone with this feelings. I read your blog everyday, specially the dotnetcore tags. but as I see it now theres not maturity for dotnetcore yet. and the reason is those changes in the past. were not feeling secure about the future. does microsoft gonna change the base? who runs the BIG project over it in linux ? is it working in the big project ? and alot of this unanswered questions. I can list some of them but I think you get the point.

P.S: a lot of respect for you because all you do for us in this industry. we just see a tiny bit of it in your blog and it means a lot to us. Thank you.
