Where to start

Hi, I am currently working in a company as a junior developer. I want to get my hands on networking because i am interested in that stuff. Can anyone suggest where to start? This is not just for "learning - learning", I might learn hacking after this. Thanks in advance

Questions:

When talking about networking, I usually associate connecting to other people with the term. Do you mean writing applications which work over a network?
Why do you want to learn networking (or networked programming)? Do you have anything specific in mind?
Hacking is the process of being creative and trying to bend tech to do cool things. It usually is used in a positive context, like "Yesterday I hacked a script which automates my boring backup-tasks away". Do you actually mean "cracking" here?
What do you want to hack (or crack, see 2) )?

So let's just say i learned the fundamentals! what are the next things that i should be focused on. Can you please give some more insights on them too! because i have been searching for a process, like a method which can tell me what do to next after i finish step 1.

rushendra Great!, so next look at the CCNA Security curriculum, it will give you good insights about the network aspect of security and better understanding of key protocols.

I would also suggest to look at Linux essentials, I think the LPIC also has good foundations as well and is key to understand the OS mostly used on InfoSec and PenTesters - Kali Linux.

So to sump up:

Network fundamentals
Really good understanding of protocols like TCP/UDP and also the likes of HTTP/S and DNS.
Linux :)
