Hi I use both vscode and sublime text ,its amazing .super fast and lightweight source code editor .....
Almost all the code editors support these basic programming languages but, they have an advanced interface and are good for mainly server side programming My Lowes Life .
VSCode is the best and it is the most popular because of flexibility and aestheticism.
Where is Brackets? I loved Brackets, I only changed to VSCode because that's what my team was on, and I wanted to be consistent.
So many VSCode users! And I am among them. I used to be a massive fan of Sublime Text purely because of its speed. I tried Atom back when it was released but could never get into it because it couldn't match Sublime's speed.
Then VSCode came along and I started trying it with a couple of things. Sure, it's not as quick as Sublime, but it made other things so much nicer. The in built JavaScript/TypeScript support is so good that I started using it more and more until I realised I wasn't using Sublime any more. And I am happy about it. Go VSCode!
Vscode is the best so far I have seen and used
Hey, where is Emacs?
I use Emacs for pretty much everything, coding or not. I read my mail there, organise my notes, handle our GitLab issues and Merge Requests (and actually, do almost everything Git related, too), write code, run tests, and more, all that from within my trustworthy OS editor. Because it works well, and this way i donΚΌt have to learn different key bindings for different tasks.
I use both Sublime Text and VS Code, however I find myself this days using VS Code
If I'm doing front end work, I like to use VS Code. I also use this for browsing back end code.
If I'm writing back end code though, I use an IDE such as Eclipse, NetBeans or IntelliJ.
Oh, Atom... it was like running a marathon, and then falling on your ass right before you reached the finish line.
Hello, i use VSCode as i am starting up as a developer.
There are some PROs and CONs of VSCode:
Pros : Good for complex, larger projects Very robust Built-in Git support
Cons: Slow to start up
I prefer IDE for coding instead source code editor. JetBrains' IDEs are really awesome.
