I'm a web developer. As we know javascript is the programming language for the web in front-end and back-end. also some of us know that we can use the language to program robots and so on. but my questions from javascript developers (who work on other fields) are:
How many years is needed to be professional in that field (for a web developer who know javascript) ?
And after all of these questions, may I know your opinion about which field is better (in all respects).
I would be grateful if you help me. Thanks everyone.

For what it's worth, I would reframe your thinking - if you know JavaScript, you know a bunch of programming concepts in JavaScript syntax. If you want to enter a different field that focuses on a different language, you will be able to learn that language. While JS is a quirky beast, so is every other language. You will have learned a conceptual foundation that will give you a head start learning the next language. It did not teach you everything, but it did teach you a lot of transferable concepts. So if you want to work in a different field, don't wait for it to embrace JS. Learn the language that field uses and go for it.
