I can see a lot of developers went to Medium and started writing programming stuff, but i dont think it feels comfortable. So i was think if hashnode will become the Quora+Medium combination for developers, it could provide nice integration with gists and fiddles with syntax highliting for code blocks in normal posts here, i imagine it would be awesome.

You got it right. We're definitely aiming at that. Hashnode is very new right now. Our whole team is working hard everyday to make user experience better and roll out new features.
