For me, I really want to get my game rolling. Amethyst finally seems to settle down a bit in regards of the basic API and architecture, so I hope that I do not have to rewrite the core of my game too often anymore :D Other than that, it's a lot of implementation to do, though I think that I should end up with a test world before summer next year, which I can use to play around with game mechanics, like spells, hit zones, AI, etc.
In addition to that, I started writing some stuff in Rust, which is missing from the perspective of someone who has been using NodeJS for a very long time. Simple to use (arbitrary) data streams, to name just one example. So, I am implementing the things I am missing and I hope to port at least some parts of SHPS over to Rust, starting with v5.
On a more personal front, I really have to finish my homepage re-write (teaser). My current website is old, outdated, sloppy and has an invalid HTTPS cert (uugh). Well, the layout and UX is in place (cross-device), however I am missing some textures and content. I really hope to push out the new site before 2018 :/
As always, those plans don't sound like much, but since I don't have too much time, it already is a lot. Too much, probably :D We'll see, what I can do until spring!
