sublimeLinter installation help needed

Hey guys, I'm trying to install sublimeLinter and I came to a roadblock. I've installed eslint, I have a package.json file and I have an eslintrc.js file in my project folder. I'm following the instructions on this page: https://github.com/roadhump/SublimeLinter-eslint and I got all the way down to the end of the plugin installation part. Something must have gone wrong though, because it says I should have "Sublime Linter" under tools and I don't. Any ideas? Thanks!
