What protocols/methods/code snippets do you/your company have in place that saves you time?

Any tools or code snippets or automated testing etc that you or your company uses that helps the developer save time in the long run.

Additionally, what are the things that you wish you had the time to build to save yourself time or that you wish your company built in order to save time?

Side note: Who else likes the new post design - very facebook-esk ;) but much better. I really like it :)
