This lean approach is so refreshing! ἱF The web has definitely gotten bloated - sites that take forever to load just to show a simple article.
I"m a huge advocate for lean design, especially from an accessibility perspective. Clean, fast-loading sites work better with screen readers and voice navigation tools. Plus, they"re much more productive to work with as a developer.
A few lean principles I"d add:
I"ve found that lean design actually forces you to think harder about user needs vs. developer wants. What looks impressive in a design system might be terrible for actual productivity.
