MCP becoming a common layer is a big shift. I’ve seen the same thing building AI tools. The hard part is not the model, it’s making tools work together reliably.
The MCP spec revision is the thread I would pull hardest on, since every capability the spec adds is also new surface an agent can be steered into using. Momentum in coding agents is easy to chart, but the number I care about is how often a run finishes without a human correcting it mid-task. Which part of the revision do you expect to change tool design most?
