Hi, the article is really great and touches the core functioning of the dpdk pmd. I wonder if you work with dpdk + sriov for sending packets directly from the nic to the application layer. If yes, could you explain how the packet flow works in that scenario, I have worked around it but I never thought of that before, it will be really nice to understand it this way. and i am attaching some of my blog reference, they are more on theoretical side, so I hope that would be helpful.
