Thank you for the customization you provided.

I'm encountering an issue with the Interactive Report (IG_IR) in APEX 24.2. When I click the help icon within the report, the help dialog appears momentarily, but then redirects to the APEX launch page.

Debugging reveals the following:

X-Content-Type-Options: nosniff X-Xss-Protection: 1; mode=block Referrer-Policy: strict-origin Cache-Control: no-store X-Frame-Options: SAMEORIGIN APEX_APPLICATION_PROCESSES FETCH_CUSTOM_HELP stop_apex_engine

Could you please advise on how to resolve this redirection problem?

Thanks John, Awesome explanation. You are now my favourite Apex blogger! Presumably you went through the initial frustration of the #CURRENT_ITEM_NAME# built-in substitution variable not being available to shortcuts called directly from a page Item's Help Text? The shortcut documentation does imply that these built-ins would be available and would have made this functionality much simpler. I'm on 24.1 and they are still not available so I guess they may never be and therefore your implementation seems to be the best alternative I've seen.
