I don't work with these technologies but I loved reading the article Miguel. Do you think AWS Lambda is a cost effective solution for small startups?
I think it can be! Also how it helps to reduce complexity in terms of scalability, it can definitely be a good option to take into consideration.

If cold starts are not acceptable, it maybe a bit more expensive to eliminate them on AWS. They do provide several ways of doing it though.
